Dr. Henning Weiss studied chemistry at the University of Wuppertal and specialized on organic and inorganic chemistry. He then changed to the Institute for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena and received his doctoral degree following his research in the field of (metal)organic dyes. The topic of his doctoral thesis was “synthesis and properties of boron and transition metal complexes with curcuminoid ligands”.
Dr. Weiss joined Fleischer, Engels & Partner mbB, Patentanwälte in June 2018 as a trainee for German and European Patent Attorney. He successfully passed the German Exam in November 2021. Since 2022 he is furthermore a licenced European Patent Attorney.
