Torsten Schüling studied chemistry at the Leibniz Universität of Hannover, specializing in the fields of organic and technical chemistry. As part of his studies, he completed a research stay at Imperial College London. Torsten Schüling received his doctorate in technical chemistry from the Leibniz University of Hannover in the field of molecular recognition using aptamers.

In February 2022, Dr. Schüling joined Fleischer, Engels & Partner mbB as a trainee for German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney.
